History
Vi Miere® was founded in 2004 by Vicki Draper, Licensed Human and Animal Massage Practitioner. When Vicki was growing up, she loved animals and always had them around her. After studying computers, math and physics in college, she spent 17 years working in the computer industry. She missed spending time with the animals and wanted to re-integrate them back into the main part of her life. She was unsure how to do this, but decided to make a bold career change. She became trained in massage, acupressure and craniosacral therapy and opened a practice working with people. Shortly after she opened her practice in 1999, her clients began bringing their animals to her for help. Vicki knew this was the spark for her new career aligning her work with her life passions.
Vicki's experience as a healing practitioner taught her about the many elements that contribute to overall wellness and inner harmony. She sought to integrate new methods and tools to further support healing and wellness. Vicki has always been drawn to crystals and has collected them over the years. She learned about the healing energy of crystals, flowers and nature so she began voraciously researching their various applications.
Vicki discovered essences could be made with crystals, so she started putting her crystals to use making them for herself and her animals. Vi Miere® offers essence mists since they are easy to administer. Soon, Vicki provided the mists to her clientele and their animals. Today, Vi Miere's® signature products are crystal, flower and nature essence mists which are available on this website, in some stores across the U.S. and at the classes Vicki teaches.
Vi Miere® is named after Vicki and her daughter, Miranda, who had just turned 2 years old at the time of Vi Miere's® creation. Vicki was recently divorced where she and Miranda were starting out on their own and coming into their own, so it seemed appropriate to name the company Vi Miere®, a combination of their names, to honor their journey together.
